Flying Club of Kansas City

The  Club was formed in 1967 at Olathe Naval Air Station (now New Century Airport) as the Kansas City Navy Aero Club.

The club has an enviable safety record with NO aircraft accidents or incidents in over twenty years.  The average flying time is 400 hours annually. This record is due to the club's proactive safety campaign and professional attitude, and hands-on maintenance.

The experience of club pilots ranges from begining pilots, through retired airline and military pilots with many thousands of hours.  The club has a staff of FAA certified instructor pilots who are qualified to provide instruction for all FAA certificates for single engine, land airplanes.

The club has changed its name, its location, and its aircraft over the last thirty years, but it is still dedicated to providing low-cost, safe flying in the Kansas City area.
